The first and foremost thing that you need to have is an anti-virus system in your mobile and remember it should not be a free downloaded one, but should be one that is purchased or provided by your cell phone.

You would also have to regularly clear the history, so that nothing stays in your cell phone memory. You should never save passwords or anything in your cell phone. Finally, it is better not to access that do not provide a secured connection, as chances of data leakage from such sites are far higher.
